The Fresh Look at Wall Street is the website dedicated to documenting my newsletter as well as a means to document my experiences in the financial markets, and what will hopefully lead to my dream of no longer being a student and becoming a trader and investor.
My name is Matthew McCreath and I live in Jamaica and I have been interested in the financial markets since 2009, when my economics teacher entered me into a trading competition using Jamaican stocks. I placed in the top 10 with limited knowledge of what I was doing but that experience changed my life, I would say, and as I delve further and further into the intricacies of the markets my eyes open further and further. So I hope I can educate my audience and be educated from the discussions we have as well as grow as a person in the process.
